Next month we will for sure be doing IVF. I'm excited, nervous, and scared all in one. Since December we have switched Doctors and are ready to make our baby! I love my new Dr and the staff. I wasn't thrilled about my last Dr. and it was 1.5 hours from my house and an hour from my job. This new place is 10 minutes from my job and maybe 40 minutes from my house. Plus my new Dr (Dr S) is awesome and never mentioned my weight once. I couldn't get Dr O to shut up about it, even though he knew I had PCOS. Dr S has a facebook page for his clients and it makes you feel like you're one big family there. They have picnics for all the families he has a part in making each year.
As of right now I'm done with all my testing, just waiting for AF to show up so I can start birth control. Then I will get a D&C to clear out my uterus because of a polyp Dr. S found, that nobody had found before. I also have to attend a shot clinic and then I should be set. We are so blessed to have amazing insurance, and a family who loves us. Along with our tax return and money from my dad we will now have enough money to cover our cycle, including out of pocket medications.
I am super nervous about getting pregnant and possibly having twins with my back issues that I have started to see a back surgeon again. I go in next Tuesday to be sedated for another back injection. I'm hoping to ease some of the pain of pregnancy by being proactive. According to my back doctor, I'm too young and a 3 disc fusion is pretty risky. Anyway I think that's all I have for now. I hope to be updating more often and in May to announce my pregnancy!!
